Detritus: 2008

For the last couple of weeks we have had a guest in our backyard. He came, obviously from some sort of party and being apparently, a little the less for wear, he lost his way and ended up over the fence in our yard. I have been keeping an eye on him in a casual sort of "how you do'in" sort of way. He has been exploring the yard and has boxed the compass. Today he is hanging out in the northwest quadrant by the hydrangea. I think the cold weather agrees with his constitution as he has lost none of his perky opulence. Jaundice may be a problem though.
