Adult salmon holding pens and release flume at Bonneville Fish Hatchery
The flume (the sloping chute) in the background is used to release young salmon raised at other hatcheries into Tanner Creek which enters the Columbia river almost immediately. The arches in the far background support I-84 that runs through the Columbia Gorge.
