Neskowin more...

The alders, firs and oaks? on the hill across 101 caught my eye. Textures and colors.

Neskowin Marsh Golf Course, the name says it all!
 Patterns in the sand
It's all sand, but there must be something binding some of it together differently.
Lots of different textures caused by the wind and water.  Like looking at pictures of the surface of Mars.
Almost like an aerial view of forest land.
 Token art piece
 Salt rime.
The blown dry sand, the salt rime and the eroded wave patterns (caused by the surf) combine for some interesting patterns.
Headlands??  Footprints in the distance destroy the illusion.
 Different ...
Today, Tuesday, rain last night and on and off again during the day, but the biggest feature is the wind.
Dark at the horizon for a while and then broken clouds and blue sky.
 Jan reading Stephen Hawking.
Wind blown sand like mist at ankle level

 Rainbow! The rain was horizontal!
